The Story

The Desert Hat features a creased crown, a delicate open weave pattern on the crown, a 3.5" woven edge brim and a round leather cord trim. *Please note that the natural color is shown with a 3.5" brim but our current inventory has a 4.5" brim. 

This straw is our fine grade straw, which means that the straw fibers are thin and more tightly woven. The straw has a nicer hand feel and is more textile-like, though is not quite as fine of a grade as our Montecristi hats. Available in natural only. 

  • This is a made to order item. 
  • Made of Panama straw, handwoven in Ecuador.
  • Hand blocked in Portland, Oregon.
